We have been told the Wire Strung Harp Tradition was broken upon the death of Denis Hempson in 1807, or at the latest with the death of Patrick Byrne in 1863. In this presentation, Cynthia leads a discussion on what makes a tradition a broken one, and explores the possibility that our tradition is not wholly broken and can, in fact, be mended.
