Cynthia has prepared and presented many workshops on subjects relating to everything from an introduction to what a wire strung harp is, exactly, to advanced playing techniques. Subjects are often suggested by conference organizers or festival hosts to fit their theme and audience. There are perenial favorites (such as her Goal Setting and Gapped Scales presentations) to talks that were written specifically for a certain audience and given only once such as a wellrecieved talk and demonstration on the history and music of the socalled Queen Mary
harp for a St. Andrews Society supper aimed towards letting the members there know that there is more to Scottish Music than the Great Highland Bagpipes!
